I’ll be moving the art from my flickr [who even still uses flickr?] to a new tumble blog with a url that I feel ok telling someone without terrible shame for my middle school years. Will post the link when I’m done.

Conspiracy websites/ faux-documentaries like this one are extremely frustrating to me, because they seduce people who may be “out-of-the-box” and critical thinkers (that might have the ability to conduct real change and innovation) into believing that there is a simple solution to complex global dilemmas and that the reason new age theology hasn’t created the utopia we all expected in the age of Aquarius is because THEY are keeping it from happening. It is the opposite of education, in that it deconstructs world views to a point where they all blend together into dangerously simplistic “reality” and once more it is a perversion of Orwellian concepts and the work of so many talented artists and philosophers. Shit like this inspires resentment and disassociation with a system that requires personal involvement to produce any good, and creates a sense of overwhelming dissonance that can keep weaker people from maintaining any internal-locus of control.
